Rockaway Taco Summer 2013, y’all!
I hope you’ll join us for this next Wednesday!
Big Big Announcement: Restore Rockaway

I’ve been working like mad for the past few weeks with an awesome group of people to found an organization helping small businesses in Rockaway rebuild in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Today, we are ready to present the end result: Restore Rockaway.
One trip out to Rockaway is all it takes to understand that the majority of businesses on the peninsula have been unable to reopen. They need outside help, and they need it yesterday.
ABOUT: The “About” page provides a lot more detail about our specific initiatives, which include emergency grants, a pop-up structure to stand in for non-functioning beachfront concessions buildings this summer, and more.
DONATE: Please visit our newly launched website and then please DONATE!
The Fund for the City of New York has partnered with us, which means all donations to Restore Rockaway are 100 percent tax deductible.
PARTICIPATE: If you know any small business owners in Rockaway, encourage them to apply, beginning tomorrow, for our Emergency Grants of up to $5,000.
Any questions, please contact me. And if you are a bar/restaurant/anything else owner anywhere in the city interested in hosting a fundraising event, please get in touch!!
Finally, please spread the word. Reblog this post, share on Facebook. Social media, go!
